Infinite Progression?/Subscripton

Post by Tokitaki » 26 Mar 2014, 21:37

Hey,
after reading a lot about this game Im really excited, but after reaching the skill cap of 150/600 -> I didnt really understand that, will there still be a progress to be made?
I dont mean defending your territory, but something like making your character stronger?

Another questions:
The game will be b2p -> no problem, but will I need to make a subscripton like WoW?

Thanks for every answer :D

B2P/no sub and after 60 skill gains will slow down the higher you go and getting any skills from 90 to 100 will take many months and with skill caps specialists will stand out in their select fields of expertise whether it be chopping heads off or weapons smithing etc.

Life is Feudal payment method is 'Buy to Play', with a free access to a game demonstration on daily wiped so called 'Newbie Island', where your skill cap is greatly limited. To get pass the limitation you will have to purchase ticket transferring your character to the main continent. Then you will start real adventure with no limitations.

You max skill cap is 710 if you had 110 in intelligence and 10 in the other 4 stats.

Nothing you can do to progress your character beyond that cap at this time, no end-game grind progression if that is what you were getting at.

If you just go to 60 in 10-12 skills then you can be at that cap very fast as it does not take long to get to 60.

If you want to get to 90 in two top tier skills (60 each in four lower skills in the tree and 90 in the top, so 330 pts to do that) the it might take you 2-3 weeks if you hardcore grind.

Getting to 100 in a skill is supposed to take about 6 mo of grinding given the curve.

You can always change your skills around by setting some to lower while others are set to raise if you are "capped".

So TL;DR, no infinite progression, just ability to shift points around through use, and no, no subscription (unless you want to rent a safe house or safe claim near capital city)
