I frequently find myself unable to get into the MMO aswell.
In hopes that someone can help me resolve the issue I'm writing it down in a way I know might be helpful.

My primary issue pointers:

- Upon logging in my launcher wants to download 381 Mb.
- When below 1Mb of that download is remaining it stops entirely.

Things to note:

- These issues recur around 85% of the times I use the launcher
- Normal games patches do not have this issue
- If there is a game patch to be downloaded it will do so after about a minute of being stuck on the last Mb of the initial 381 Mb.

Things that may have worked for other that didn't work for me:

- Disabling read only status for LIF's folders
- Restarting the desktop
- Clearing relevant caches
- Reinstalling everything
- Executing the shortcut as administrator
- Executing the executable as administrator
- Disabling all firewalls and security programs
- Restarting network devices
- Checking router settings

Things I plan on trying:

- Listing the three files @Arrakis mentioned in a future post
- Contacting Xsolla
- Double checking router settings

Side notes:
Occasionally just by waiting the launcher will wrap up the download and let me play. This is however so random that I cannot establish a set of rules for this to occur.
I'm running a mid- to high-end desktop with everything being up to date, but I'm confident this isn't a compatibility issue so I see no use for listing my specs as of yet.

Seems like this patching is trying to catch up to terraforming changes in the world? Wuldnt it be better if it just made sure the world the game had was at least an hour old and then patch it live.

I had the same issue today.
The download bar was stuck in the end.
Sometimes i got error "203" that some object hadn't been downloaded.

In my case it was:

I tried different things posted here with no result.

I don't know if it is related or not but before another try when it worked i removed one of keys from windows registry under:

HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-1645572319-4185693459-3780892468-1005\SOFTWARE\BitBox

I beliieve it was one of keys related with CRC (under LifeIsFedual key).

Downloading takes 10 minutes at least and has 90% failure rate. Leaving the launcher open trough sleep cycle opens the game right up.

Same issue for me, tried different ways to start the game. But stuck at 0.02mb.

Having the same issue sadly.

Every single time I start the Launcher there is a small download that slows down considerably once it's almost completed. In order to start the game I have to either restart the launcher hoping that it skips further towards the end or wait for several minutes until the launcher decides to pick up speed again, completing the process and allowing me to launch the game.

Hope this gets fixed soon. Makes starting the game a hassle every time..

EDIT: Also tried to repair the client, but could not find an option to do so. I ended up deleting the version-file and restarted the launcher. That triggered another 4-5 GB download, which did NOT resolve the issue either

300 mb takes anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes to download, and there seems no way to launcher to know how long the process goes. What is even downloaded? As if you dont restart the launcher the game starts up normally, if so, then launcher downloads again.

Whenever I get an error that downloading or installation failed, I can easily get into the game.

its so funny that devs try to fix in game issues when 1/3 ppl cant even get into game... and most suffer from download stuck problem. Why not fix launcher 1st? WHY?

restarting router fixed that download stuck problem for a month for me and then i started geting incorect version error when i get into game that way... well guys if you find a way to get into game do not share with devs or in public forums, i guess devs will do everything to "fix" your fix

Try toggling P2P / Use VPN / Check your router settings (might be blocking). Also, try disabling antivirus/firewall and run launcher.exe as administrator.

Tried all suggestions as well as reinstalling. Seems very hit and miss what actually works. Tonight have done the 330mb download 4 times and always get stuck between 3mb and 1mb, is there any other way of actually downloading this which is more reliable.

I would say it is a bit rich that some of the posts suggest that it is the user's end, considering how many people have the issue....

Edit: Managed to get past the full 330mb, for it only to then start downloading the full 4.5gb game again. So far 3 hours into trying to get into the game.

So you tried all suggestions... well could you tell us what do you mean "all" and write them down please?

By "all" they mean "none". Their issue has more to do with their shitty internet connection than the launcher. But, you know, they can never be wrong.

The fix for me for this issue has been to run the launcher in administrator mode.

I had a similar issue, but after I went into "Settings" (click profile name) and in the downloads section unchecked "Use a PSP connection" it seems to be working fine.

fixed (for me) the problem for this on is downloading 18-34 and stop sometimes or closing the game

so i open it 3 times and download it every time colsing but keep open it and download hope it's work for you guys.
