I've been having this issue since yesterday. My patcher keeps redownloading a set amount of 300mb, and at the very end (often around 1-2mb remaining) it gets stuck. Normally pressing the pause button used to fix this but for some reason it has been removed from the launcher.

Any clues?

Edit: After retrying for what feels like an eternity, it finally managed to download the last bits. No idea why, i just kept relaunching the launcher over and over.

Extra note: I used to be able to solve a similair issue by merely pausing and resuming the download using the pause button. But since this has been removed from the launcher i can no longer resort to this.

Latest launcher update did not halt during patching! And in sake of wanting to play i will not restart my launcher for awhile.
However i am not a 100% the problem is fixed. I will come back if the problem returns.

Well... I had my launcher installed on my C drive but the game files was on D. It was working until today. I copied all my 'launcher' files to my D directory and the Launcher finally start normally. New problem : the game doesn't update. It's stocked at 0 of 0. I tried 'pause' / 'play' still nothing.

I rererestarted the launcher and now it's updating... hope to play in the next hour :P Hope it can help someone else too! good luck.

The issue just reappeared! Same story: Launcher stuck at a very low amount of download required and will not progress even with launcher restarts.

Same thing here, the launcher downloads the update until to around 0-2Mb left and then stops completely. No matter how long you wait and restarting the launcher just repeats in the end. This is getting ridiculous!

Sadly with a constant 400mb patch everytime i open the launcher and an internet connection of only 400kb/s it takes me about 10/20 minutes to download the patch of the launcher again to see if it works again, so you can see i often just give up after the 3rd try.

So basically disabling completely your internet connection and then enabling it fixes it? This is a joke.

I launched the launcher in the morning before going to work today and let the launcher try to download the files and after 8h it apparently had downloaded it.

A possible workaround for this issue seems to be that once you have finished/completed the download (good luck with that). DO NOT close the launcher again, and just to be safe when you quit the game, just disconnect from the server, do not exit from the game.
The game client seems to download some updates atleast. This way I actually got around 6h of gameplay out of today.

This for sure isnt the correct way but atleast I got to play the game today and not just restarting the launcher forever.

I have the exact same issue.

Some days it just gets stuck on the last megabyte every single time. I'm wasting hours on restarting the launcher and having it download 99% again, only to get stuck. Some days I finally get in, most days I do not.

Needless to say, this is incredibly frustrating. I've basically missed the first couple of weeks of the launch because of issues like this.

same here
didnt really have any issues until after the last patch. Uninstalled and completely wiped LiF from computer, restart redownload launcher and same thing happens. No error either just a launcher stuck at downloading at 0 kb/s and nothing happens. Duno if it has anything to do with internet providers.

A solution that worked for the vast majority of players who tried it AFAIK - Use VPN to download the missing data.

And again... downloading the last 3 MB for what is about an hour now... 3kb/s - even that should have finished it meanwhile, but it doesn't seem to work...

Please try toggling P2P option in the launcher options (click on your email)
