Greetings, warriors!
This is server-side and client-side mod.
BasilMod::Battlegrounds allows you to create battlegrounds on your server! Glory to the Warriors!
This mod is part of BasilMods pack.
This mod requires BasilMod::Pack to be installed on server and clients.
Default maps are provided and can be altered to suite your needs.
Players can queue different battlegrounds on the server, or between servers (if you are friends with other servers).
If you are in formations, you will be queued as group to the battlegrounds.
Server administrator setup winning conditions for different scenarios, i.e. winning points/frags amount, maximum amount of respawns, limited resources count, rewards for winner and loser teams.
All numbers in the scenarios can be altered, and specified for the example.
Mod features following scenarios:
- Massacre
5-10 players scenario. Free-for-all bloodbath.
Time is limited.
Winning conditions- First to get 30 frags, or highest frags amount.
Respawn amount could be limited, i.e. 3 to unlimited. - Last man standing.
Respawn amount could be limited
- First to get 30 frags, or highest frags amount.
- Team Fight
10-20 players scenario, i.e. 5vs5 to 10vs10 fight.
All teams spawns, and fights till all members of one team are dead. Winning team scores one point.
Winning condition: Best of 3, Best of 5. - Domination (Resource domination)
10-30 players scenario, i.e. 5vs5 to 15vs15 fight.
Receive resource points to be victorious.
To get the idea, think of "Arathi Basin" map from World of Warcraft.
5 resource spots, capture them to aquire resource points.
Winning conditions: first team to get 1000 points. - Capture the Flag
10-20 players scenario, i.e. 5vs5 to 10vs10 fight.
Capture enemy flag and get it to your base. Protect your own flag.
To get the idea, think of "Warsong Gulch" map from World of Warcraft. - Siege
20-40 players scenario, i.e. 10vs10 to 20vs20 fight.
Siege enemy castle/fortifications.
Destroy enemy team monument!
Each team have 2 siege attempts. Team with most score wins. If score is equal, time matters.
To get the idea, think of "Strand of the Ancients" map from World of Warcraft. - Conquest
40+ players scenario. i.e. 20vs20+ fight.

Capturing intermediate spots on the map benefit the team with extra supplies: consumable weapons, horses, etc.
To get the idea, think of "Alterac Valley" map from World of Warcraft. - Any other ideas? I'm open for the suggestions!
Each scenario will have atleast one map.
- Flesh and Iron
First map to be released for Massacre and Team Fights scenario.
There are two play modes.
- You queue and join battlegrounds with your current skills, equipment, and inventory.
Your equipment is preserved when you die (i.e. you do not lose any items).
During BG you will be fighting in your own gear. - Your ingame equipment does not matters. Only current skill tree progression matters.
When round starts, you can get basic armors and weapons. Once you get frags, or other points, you get ingame currency, which you can spend to level up your gear. If you buy any gear, it is preserved through death.
If you are unable to get any points, you will occasionaly get higher level gear over time. i.e. if round is 10mins, you get tier1 gear at beginning, tier2 at 3 mins, tier3 at at 5min, and tier4 at 7mins
