The name of the game is not catchy and i meen that in the best of ways..i think games that have a more simple name get tried more.

Well nobody knows if this name will be the name for the finished project - but every project needs a name - so LiF could be told as placeholder or as final name - nobody knows

Well, we actually love it too. It's kinda not standart in game dev industry to have a game name, that sounds like a motto.
If you have a better name variants - feel free to suggest.

If we call it like "Ironsword" or something fast nobody actually would think this game is a sandbox mmorpg.

the word "Life..." actually tells a lot for players...
Think about googling for "Sandbox mmorpg life simulation" actually this will give a good hit for "Life is Feudal"
or ppl looking for "Sandbox mmorpg life simulation feudalism medieval" this will actually give even more hits for "Life is Feudal"

During Development the name will usually change over and over. Unless you base your game around the name.

Life is Feudal is a interesting name it sticks a little but yes its not catchy. But neither was World of Warcraft Online. &_&

When I first saw the title it kind of reminded me of one of those parody games, with funny characters and VERY cartoony art, but as I read on I found the name to be cooler by the second.It kind of reads out as "Life is Brutal" (as it was in the good ol' days).

I don't really care what the name is of a game. I've played sillier named games that were great. I've played bad games that were named better. If one plays enough of a game and enjoys it the name will stick. And before you know it... you'll become loving the name.

I think it's a creative name. Most MMOs out there are called (Insert cheesy word here) Online, and it gets repetitive and boring. "Life is Feudal" definitely stuck in my mind the first time I saw it.

Those are really stereotypical titles... I somehow like "Life is feudal" as it's untypical for a game, especially a MMO. Why does every MMO need to have "Online" in the title? As if there are still games that cannot be played online... The term was catchy in the early 2000's. Now it's a little embarassing.

That seems kinda boring. People won't go for game with Feudal age. Hell, I would just scroll past it. But Life is Feudal? Well, it ignited my curiosity and I went searching for more.

I think "Life is Feudal" is catchy and creative enough.

It's also a great constant reminder to players who lose their holdings or who die in this unforgiving world that life is feudal indeed.

When I first saw the name, I thought it's more like a motto or a marketing line, like in movie posters: "300 - Prepare for Glory" or something like that.
The name is as good as it is, because it tells that the game is different from all those "XXX online" or "XXX XXX Online".
Slightly "polished for the ear" version could be "Feudal Life".

My first feeling when I read the title was:
funny... doesn't sound like your average hardcore badass knight battle sieges dragon game, more like a simulation of medieval life which got me somehow interested as I'm generally interested in history rather than the hollywood stylized version of medieval times presented in most games. Had I not found the game via Mount&Blade forums I would have thought it was more like a medieval simcity just judging by the title.
