Honestly, give what you feel your level of support for LIF is. Just be aware that only the Top 100 donators get the coveted Alpha slots.
Ultimately you must decide what your level of commitment to the success of LIF is.
Bobik wrote:In a current state of donation flow I can assure you, that there everyone who had donated will be in that top 100, because we are quite far away from 100 donations. If you want, I can personally guarantee you alpha and all later testing stages place if donation of something more then 30 Euro will happen.
Cian wrote:Ah good catch. I missed that somehow. Well I still stand by my statement. Donate what you feel you can spare to the LIF team based on your support for the game.
I donated more than the minimum 30 euros because I wanted to give as much as my wife would let me without burying me in the back yard

As about baby sitting and such. We will definitely won't bother with such things, maybe will just ban for most outrageous spam/swearing events. But in general our chat should be as free as possible. So I believe we're on the same wave about that, unless you plan to talk $hit and only $hit and nothing else

So I'm curious, is this game the devs' only project? Do they plan on making it a full-time job? Or is this just sort of a hobby of theirs that will still take years to even make it into beta?
Straya wrote:If i can get a 100% guarantee into the Alpha Beta or future beta's i will gladly donate $150+ tomorrow or in a couple of days , so can u confirm this bobik i would get in?

I can pretty much guarantee you that would place you in top 100 donators, and thus get you alpha/beta access.

And it occurred to me, there was really one thing in Wurm Online that really stood out, it was the chat handling and GM / Mod/ What ever you wanna call em, their interactions with the chat. There was literally so much babysitting that you couldn't really talk about anything.
Is this game gonna have as annoying babysitting-system as well? Cause that'll definitely be a killer for me, if I can't chat freely the way i'm used to chat. Eg. maybe a little cursing here and there, maybe some general fooling around, maybe some sexual jokes like in Wurm we had "Rare led shaft and led balls", as in obvious reference to male genitalia... Which was killed 10 minutes later by an uptight GM... and later I quit the game because the chat was just horrible, there was no fun at all. The public ones anyway, the private chats (guild, etc.) weren't controlled, but still that small "rule" killed the game for me, just like that.
Any response to this? If the chat would be somewhat "free form" It would definitely be a good thing and the atmosphere wouldn't be so "Oh shit, GM / Mod's coming, better shut up", if you know what I mean.
