As in the title says is this implemented yet cuz i have no idea how it works if it's working

You need to have Alchemy at level 100. Then you'll have an option to transmute iron into gold. You can use 1 lump per day with 1% chance of success each time.

so if i have 80 alchemy and alchemy outfit that gives me 20 skill points will not work i need to hit 100 in alchemy ?

You need to actually level up alchemy to 100.

if you look at skill tree at alchemy skill 100 you will see that you can make gold from iron once per day but the chance is 1% soo yes you can

Soo just to clarify: Getting 1 ONE lump of gold on average in 100 days, which could easily stretch to - lets say 300, cause probability is a bitch, is in anyway found useful by the developers?

Sorry, but I can't see the benefit of that in the game.

Level 100 abilities/items aren't really designed for profit. It's just a fancy bonus for hardcore players, who reached maximum level. There are also titles for lvl 100 skill owners.

True.
But compared to many it still lacks out, but there are quite a few "equal bad" ones too, but thats compensated in some way.
The problem is, that gold can be found in other ways. It isn't a mini small chance to produce something really special or more rare.

Some probability math:
230 days after reaching skill 100 and using it each day, there will still be 10% of people with skill 100 who haven't had a success with transmuting iron into gold.

And a small list of other 100 point specials:

There are 7 skills that enable you to craft something that cant be made otherwise (even if it is just optical, it is something very special)

And other 12 skills get a +5 luck bonus - of course luck can be got else too, but is something that helps you whenever you do something influenced by it. And its a noticeable difference.

5 get a minimal bonus for special things to happen. Really small chance - but its something special you get out of it.

1 has slightly increased range (That one looses out too, in my opinion)

1 has less metal waste - useful I'd say, in a world of finite resources, and works always when recycling

1 increases range manyfold for one resource (9 tiles instead of one)

1 has more durable beams (Sounds like another one loosing out, but might be useful for some)

1 increases its 90 ability a bit - a bit more luck for all around.

1 works once on average in a 100 days - and produces a normal material.

As it's been stated, the 100 skill "bonuses" from mostly everything is either cosmetic or luck bonus.

I've got to say this is one of the better ones in my opinion. Not due to being useful, but due to the fact that making gold was the entire goal of the old alchemists. That was what alchemy was all about. So this little small chance for grand master alchemists to be able to do just that is brilliant. :D

Nothing in the skill trees are all that important at level 100. Once you get to 90 you have everything you can get from a skill. At 100 they give you a vanity or fun item. So for alchemy you get to do something fun. Its not that important and its defiantly not going to make a difference since you can hit a gold vein and pull out a ton more then what this could ever make. Its just for fun.

I would like it if it was once you did it the first time you could do it 100% of the time once a day with 1 lump. That would be really cool. A great way to show off to other alchemists lol.
