The changes to the consequences of an IB defeat has frustrated many including myself. Since the beginning, Epleland has had raids and wars just like any other server, and a natural evolution of war took shape when the IB consequence was increased. We started seeing meaningful progress that mattered, and the ones who fought no longer fought for nothing. It changed the political landscape of Epleland in a very interesting way and "troll" and "bandit" guilds saw the consequences of making so many enemies. With todays changes, they are being protected and can continue the pointless fights on epleland for the sake of the pvp itself, which belongs on PVP servers, not Epleland.
It says in the Epleland Rules, on PVP Policy:
Life is Feudal. It is also very brutal. Some people will talk to you before attacking, others won’t. We will not get involved in any dispute here. We do ask that you avoid killing new players on the beach, but that is to the players to police themselves. What we will not permit is attacks that are targeted at the individual behind the character. Please make sure that if you do engage in pvp, it's justified from your character's perspective.
Please honor this and let the players fight efficient wars against the bandits and non-rp'ers that attack and grief without character justification.
We ask that you roll back the changes made to the IB consequences on Epleland to how it was before 0.11.13.1
