I know this has probably been asked a 100 times but searching for armor values just brought up many topics of debate on what armor should be and not what it currently IS.
Anyway so my question is; how do I interpret the protection values for armors that you find in the Wiki and data base files. For example I see Full plate gives a slash resist of .52%. So does that mean it shaves half of one percent off incoming damage? If so that is super low. The armor I have made is of 100Q (Made not GM spawned) and I have 100 skill in plate and I was still knocked out in a about a dozen hits with a training sword, In testing I traded blow for blow with a person who had about the same stats and skills and weapons as me while they where naked, I knocked him out while only having about 5% life left.
So is that all the work in forging 100Q plate armor buys you? 5% life over a naked person?
I also have heard that if armor and skill are at 100 you get 2X the listed protection is this true? If it is and I am getting 2X the armor if you are not at 100 / 100 armor is about pointless.
