If I had more than 30 euros to spend on an early alpha game i would have donated :) if I could I would have donated 100 or more euros just to support, but it's not so

There is some problem. We don't know what We get for our money. Information like:
5 euro title on the forum or in game
10 euro some small staff or something
20 euro access to alfa, key to full version, or somethin like that.
Information like in Indiegogo campain, ofcorse not that many option's, should help.
I still thinking about donation, but I don't know what exacly i get if I pay some money. How many pay to get alfa and full version. That information can help.

"donating" is an act where you give money to support a work, if you manage to get in top 100 donators you'll have a sit into the alpha (which will be valid as full game on release)

easy as that.

Donating 45 euros :)

I hope I will get in the top 100.

I saw somewhere that the team was far from having got 100 donations, so it should do.

EDIT : Will give tommorow, in the evening.

2 questions :

If we donate AFTER the alpha has started, will we get in ?

When is the alpha starting exactly ? Any accurate dates ?

If a set amount is given (say 30, 40, 50 USD or Euro) you might get more donations. If 10 people donate $1k, 40 people donate $300, 50 people donate $100, and the rest of us don't know what we need to donate to get into alpha... makes it harder to spend that money.

Plus the more people spend, the higher the donation requirement is to get into alpha. That is good for the game of course, but bad for the players wanting to get in.

Surely we can take more than 100 players into alpha in return for some nice hard shiny cash. Toss us a number? =)

I know what is donating, but We live in time where nothing is for free. Offer on Indiegogo was clear and good for My. This list does not convince me to pay. I prefer to wait and pay for the full product.
What happen if I pay 20 euro, and I get on 101 place? Maybe I get access,maybe not. Like you see it's not clear and easy ;) .

Well, first of all, we still can not provide a exact date so far. TBH we've planned to start alpha at the end of January but a lot of small, but numerous bugs and problems had caused us to stumble here and there.

I really hope, that we will be ready in 2 weeks from now on, if nothing scary will come out and hold us for even more.

About donation, Kuroi said it all - it is just a donation. If you want to BUY a game, just wait for it to become available. If you want to get into alpha tests, wait for them to become available as an early access purchase. Right now we don't have anything to sell and are not planning to have for at least a month or even more.

MO first (and only one, currently) continent is like 64 km^2, LiF is 306 km^2

Well land size doesn't say it all, it also depends on travel-speed, but asuming the travelspeed of running is about the same as running in WoW (which at base is RL sprinting, basically) the landmass would be about 4x the size of the original two continents combined.

Asuming runspeeds in LiF are quite a bit slower (aka more like jogging) it might feel significantly bigger than that.

Wurm main server is 268,000,000 m2, but there's a lot of water too. And their tiles are 4x4 meters, here they are 2x2 meters. More than enough land I would think. =)

For fast travel i'm not meaning Elder Scrolls style, I mean exactly going fast lol. If you walk it will take long to make it from the bottom to the top of the map, but with a horse it will be much less painful :D

Why do you want to move anyway?
There will be no zones for certain level, no dungeons nothing that will force you to move.

In fact you will stick to your home location and developing your neighbourhood.

in reality this is not Rust, where all resources are everywhere.

You have to move: to hunt and find minerals in the mountains.

I mean, take your time. Set everything up you think it needs to be. But then be clear about it, please, so us people who're interested in the game have a better chance of supporting you.

Perhaps they'll put an option like that after the first alpha stage, maybe Bobik will light up this point. Perhaps after the first alpha stage you could buy the game for the same/lesser/greater price with the premise that it's an alpha, so you'd have a lot of bugs, lag, and so on, but i suppose it depends if their servers can support it

alpha is limited.

If you give enough money to be in the top 100, you will be in alpha.

Do not ask forever, this is not the GV with a fixed price to get into alpha.

this alpha is not open, but closed

closed alpha = the number of places are limited.

I don't think game purpose is to move where resources are. You would rather trade for resources since getting resources far from your settlement would not only be time consuming (travel), dangerous and most likely not possible since there will be already people there who don't want to share.

I guess after having failed the kickstarter they would like to get any money we're willing to give them. I'm willing to give more than I already have if I'm assured to get in there at some time. When this will be is predominantly up to their planning. I wouldn't even care too much about being able to log in to a stress test server every once in a while so they don't need to deal with my presence most of the time. ^^

Well, everyone who had donated anything above 50 Euro is 100% in Alpha and will be included as soon as we will be getting closer to alpha itself.
I will make an announcement and will provide "Alpha tester" group access to such donors and those who had helped a lot with spread the word activity.
And that will be as your constant access to all later stages of testing with some kind of refund at beta/release, when we gonna have premium currency and in game shop and sky will be blue and birds will be singing etc.
