If you're looking for an actual fuedal life simulator, and not just a guild that calls you a peasent or a serf, then we're proud to give you just that.
New members start out as Plebians who work the land on a Manor owned by a Lord/Knight/Baronet to learn how to play the game and to become familiar with how things work in the guild. Tools, food, and safety will be provided, but you'll have no possessions of your own.
Prove that you understand the basics of the game, are an active player, and dedicated to the Republic, and you'll enter into a feudal agreement with your Lord that will include being given a house (that locks) along with a small piece of land to work within his fiefdom. With this, you'll become a tenant.
As a part of your feudal agreement, a price will be set in order for you to buy your way out of it and become a freeman. It will be difficult as your land will be limited, and a percent of your goods must be paid weekly to your Lord.
As a freeman you can move into the city to become a master craftsman, or remain on your land and pay rent to your Lord.
As a freeman in the city, you are free to pursue whatever you desire. Become a master smith, start a trading company, or even become a booze soaked beggar. You will have the right to vote for your own mayor or run for mayor yourself. Become wealthy beyond your wildest dreams and possibly purchase a baronet title for yourself.
Once you are a master craftsman, a Lord may wish to hire you to serve their household. You can then work on a manor rent free and without having to purchase your raw goods. Serve your lord well, make them rich, and they may ask you to become a baronet.
Or join the military, impress a Knight and he may take you on as a squire. Pass your knightly trials, and be given a fief of your own.
It is a long and hard climb from pleb to land owner, but it was possible (more so over the course of generations), and we make it possible under our system.
Come join the Republic, your feudal life could begin today!
